Pricing Analyst

Currently, we are looking for a Pricing Analyst.

 What will you do in your role as Pricing Analyst?

In e-commerce, offering a product at the right price is of great importance to achieve maximum results. As a pricing analyst you are operationally responsible for implementing the right pricing policy, finding that sweet spot in the field of P * Q that ensures optimal results. You will work closely together with the various purchase- and category managers, the business analyst, the pricing manager and sales and marketing colleagues.

By using competition- and data analysis you optimize our automatic pricing methodology and specific product- and bundle prices. You are continuously adjusting prices for our own websites in Europe and the market places where we offer our products. You carry out tests to discover what makes our customers buy. You do research on new pricing methodologies and you play an important role in the development of these techniques within our organization.

 

You are our ideal candidate if: 

• You have a Master in Econometrics (or comparable)
• You have 1-2 years of experience in a commercial data / pricing role
• You have great analytical skills. You are able to find the patterns in data and are able to explain in a clear and structured way
• You are able to think from a commercial perspective
• You are innovative and creative in finding solutions
• You have strong communication skills and you are proficient in the English language
• You are "eager to learn" with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Experience with Python / R studio and SQL is an advantage
